| you can overdo it and not give yourself enough time to rest and grow muscle. my workout is monday through friday. i work in nyc and work out before work. i walk a half hour every morning from the bus terminal to the gym near my work (could take a subway but like the exercise) and a half hour back at home each night. in addition, each day i do 30 minutes on the elliptical machine for 300 calories after lifting. this is my lifting workout . i rest on saturday and sunday:MONDAY AND THURSDAY*FLAT BENCH(nautilus machine)(2 sets) 205X10 reps, 235x8 reps*DECLINE BENCH (hammer strength plate loading)(3 sets) 90 pounds each side x10, 105 pounds each side x 8 reps, 135 lbs each side x 6 reps*INCLINE BENCH (hammer strength plate loading) (1 set) - 70 lbs each side x 10*DIPS - 1 set of 15 reps*WEIGHTED AB CRUNCH MACHINE - 1 set of 100 lbs x 33 reps*BACK EXTENSION MACHINE FOR LOWER BACK - 1 set of 220 lbs x 33 repsWEDNESDAY - LEGS*LEG PRESS- (3 sets) 195 lbs. x 10 reps, 210 x 8 reps, 225 x 6 reps*CALF RAISES - (2 sets) 60 lbs x 15 reps, 70 x 10 reps*REVERSE LEG CURLS HAMSTRINGS (3 sets)- 70 x 10 reps, 100 x 8 reps, 115 x 6 reps*LEG CURLS FOR QUADS (3 sets) 150 x 10 reps, 195 x 8 reps, 210 x 6 reps*WEIGHTED AB CRUNCH MACHINE - 1 set of 100 lbs x 33 reps*BACK EXTENSION MACHINE FOR LOWER BACK - 1 set of 220 lbs x 33 repsTUESDAY AND FRIDAY -*CURL MACHINE FOR BICEPS - (3 sets) 65 x 10 reps, 75 x 8 reps, 90 x 6 reps*LAT PULLDOWN - (3 sets)190 x 10 reps, 205 x8 , 220 x 6*ROW MACHINE - (3 sets) 130 x 10 reps, 175 x 8 reps, 190 x 6 reps*TRIS BEHIND HEAD WITH DUMBELLS - (3 sets) 25 lbs each arm x 10 reps, 30 lbs each arm x 8 reps, 40 lbs. each arm x 6 reps*WEIGHTED AB CRUNCH MACHINE - 1 set of 100 lbs x 33 reps*BACK EXTENSION MACHINE FOR LOWER BACK - 1 set of 220 lbs x 33 reps |

| Not bad.... I would put the biceps curls last though(assuming you put them in order of the workout). If you've worked up to this level you sound like you are doing well. Perhps the cardio is a bit much though, with all the walking 2-3 times a week is plenty. |

| You got pretty hard work their! I am also working out in the gym and i realize, no matter what work out you're doing, it's much ok than living a sedentary life.I believe the more you work out, the more you are toned up, healthy and strong. Are you aiming for a target weight or figure? i presume you have that fit athletic built body or a body like that of a hunk. That abs is definitely an asset and it will bring you to wider horizon of opportunities. Opportunities like that in a modeling industry. Did it ever come across your mind?
