last night I lifted weights for about half an hour now today I feel grumpy, fatigued, and have an overall negative attitude. for instance I was short with my mom when talking to her. I feel refreshed after jogging for a half hour. Whay do I feel bad after weight lifting? Am I lifting too much? I been trying to put on more size. I still fee like this after eating. And often times I eat a lot when I feel like this I eat plenty of protein too. Is it hormeones. I thought it was cortisol so I reduced the length of my work outs.

you have a higher endurance when running and when you lift weights you are probably doing a too intense workout out. Try using smaller weights and going slower with reps...... say curls (for example) bring the weight up fast and lower it slowely .You have to build up your muscle for weights.
