Thanks to all who answered my previous question. I've gathered all the info I need and now I have to start having the right amount of fruit/veg/milk products/meat/grains .. as well as making sure I get 18mgs of iron a day, since at the moment I'm quite low on it.OK! So now that I'll be doing all that .. if I stick to the plan solidly and get exactly what I need each day, does anybody know approximately how long it'll take for me to have a healthy weight? I need to gain a minimum of 12 kgs. Is that a lot? Or is that achievable in a short amount of time?Summer is in 4 months so I hope to be ready for it :)Thanks in advance, for all your help.

12kg is a lot of weight..26 pounds? think about it like landing an airplane...come in gradually and you will have a smooth landing. If you come in too steep you will crash. I guess you're pretty light if you are trying to gain weight...I would think in terms of years. Specific recommendation is olive oil, high in mono unsaturated fat (good kind), very calorie dense (120cal per tbsp) and always seems to be an ingredient to long life.
