| once in gear engine runs fine...high speed ok...return to load boat on trailer idles rough..kicks and dies..restart and the same..engine decarboned..top cylinder( plugs removed) fouled wet plug...any help appreciated |

| I would think Carburation.1.check throttle stop adjustment screw is allowing slide/needle to shut of fuel to much at "Idle"2.Oil on spark plug,check oil/petrol ratio is correct |

| I would check the float height on the top carb (assuming that's a 2-carb model, don't remember). my guess would be the float valve isn't seating completely, #1 is running rich not enough to tell at hi speed but enough to flood at idle after a long run.been a long time since last carb rebuild, this might be the time. |
