My friend told me that if I walk while I eat, I will lose more weight than I would if I ate sitting down. Is that true? She said that I will burn off most of the calories I am eating.

nah not really.. as u are walking u are eating? you are not burning what u are eating.. because it has not been digested yet... it has to go through your system first.. so impossible to that one..just exercise when the time is good for u..

Actually, walking while you eat will probably cause indigestion. Sit down to eat, and go for a walk later. Your friend is trying to be helpful, but the logic isn't logical.

No chance. You can burn your food only through physical work/ exercises. Plan your food. If you really interested in reducing your weight cut your fried foods, oils, junk foods etc., Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Go for a brisk walk. Do regular exercise.Practice yoga

I agree with the first answer. The food needs about an hour to properly digest so you can't burn it as you eat it. But going out for a walk after a meal is not a bad thing to do, it could burn off a little of the food you've eaten whereas if you sat at home it would get stored as fat.
