Okay it was a freshman in high school. Now its summer. I want to me slim and buffer this year. i am away i have loss five pounds the past two weeks. i am 188.5 lb. I want lose wait! Maybe at least 150 or 155. I think my face is attractive but people don't like me because of my weight. they make fun of me and girls make fat jokes about me. Now i think my weight makes my face look different since i have fat. What are some activities that i can do to lose alot of weight now i really don't like sports. because of my asthma it makes it hard to work at my goals. but i really want to be slim! what are some ways to help that. I may like sports if i was more athletic. I want to look like my brother who is slim. Now every other day i am going to the gym working out and swimming. Between those days i am running on the track 6 times around. But i hate running on the track. and i don't think i'm putting out my best effort because i hate it so much. What is an activity that would help me?Please give me specific, diet plans and activites to lose weight. please give me some sports that i will lose alot of weight with that i can be good at and not get laughed at because of my size an speed.i am 5'4 and african americani am 5'4 and african americanmy brother doesn't really work out or diet, he just has a fast metbolism. He is lucky.

diets dont work...just portion control your food...you may just jog or walk if you hate to run...all forms of sports are beneficial for weight loss...

Well, I strongly recommend you look into body for life. Basically it's 6 meals a day and you work out 6 days a week. 3 of those days are high intensity interval training - cardio. There's tons of stuff you can do for cardio: elliptical, treadmill, bike, jump rope, rollerblade, etc.. The other 3 days are weight training. I've tried every pill and diet in the world, trust me when i say this works. (you can look at www.bodyforlife.com) Don't get discouraged by the scale, that's probably one of the biggest things I've realized... Remember the initial weight will come off pretty fast and then it will slow down... 1 - 2 pounds is the average. Remember that you're losing fat and gaining muscle and that's what is important. Muscle weighs more than fat! It was really hard for me to understand this at first because i was so focused on what the scale said.

jump roping is really good for you and burns lots of calories. jump rope for 5 minutes straight at a moderate/fast pace. rest and start again, go until you have jumped for 15-20 minutes. listening to music is good and you can judge it by jumping for 2 songs resting for 1 song, jumping 2, resting 2, jumping 2, resting 1-2, jumping 2. just be sure to stretch out well before and after. this will burn as many if not more calories than a 30min. jog. also dont be hesitant to rest if you start to cramp, its ok you will get used to it as you get into shape. this is excellent cardio too and will get you into shape to do other things like running.
