here's the deal of what I'. working with...I'm going t join weight watchers within the next 3wks, but until then I wan tto start a lifestyle change for myself to get untune with things..I'm 28, 4 children, not very active, 5'0", 150 lbs, I don't care for many fruits or veggies and I love chocolate. I am struggling with depression (no I'm not using this as a crutch to gain weight, I do however, find myself eating when I get down) and I am a stay at home mom. I do not get out of the house much at all and with the children I do't have time to go to a gym. I have some work out videos like Yoga Booty Ballet and PIlates 10 min. workouts but that's it. Any ideas of how I can put myself into a daily routine with something basic but maybe effective. I need something that a begginer would like to stick with. Any suggestions would be apprecited. Thanks!

I know quite a few women with children who choose to get up 30 minutes or so earlier than usual to get a workout in before the kids get up. That way, you get some time for yourself when you don't have to worry about anything else. It will become second nature to you after you do it for a few weeks, and you'll start to look forward to that time alone. Weight Watchers is excellent and will help you learn how to eat sensibly. You may also want to find another person as an "accountability partner" to help keep you on track. Since you own Yoga Booty Ballet, you are probably already a basic member of Beachbody. You can log into WOWY (Workout With Me) and find "Success Buddies" who will commit to working out at a specified time with you. You do not have to use Beachbody programs to use WOWY (you also get entered into the daily prize drawing if you log your workouts). Having someone to help hold you accountable can work wonders. If you're unsure of how to use WOWY, please feel free to contact me through my profile.

First of all, drink nothing but lots of water. Cut out sugars, but I understand being a chocoholic, so have the discipline to treat yourself from time to time, but in small doses. Don't go overboard. Walking is the best thing you can do, if you live in an area where you can get out and walk 30-40 minutes a day would be great. Also if you have access to a pool, water aerobics are a fun and effective way to work out.
