| I started a walking program on Mon. I am loving it. Feeling great except for the blisters on my heels. I know my feet have to toughen up. But, is there any suggestions how to get through these next few painful days? I am even considering wearing my flipflops and cutting the time in half. My shoes do fit correctly and I have been wearing two pairs of socks. I think that pedicures have made my feet more senstive. Any experienced help out there? Thanks in advance. |

| I am not really sure what to do while the blisters heal, but afterwards I know that they make some great stuff I think it is by Band Aid and it looks like a tiny stick of deoderant and you can rub this on before you put your shoes on. It works wonders!Maybe you could just take one day off to let the blisters heal up and instead of walking do a lot of stretching and maybe some light weight training? |

| Is it possible to go to the beach? Walking on the sand actually makes you work harder and burn more calories and you don't need to wear shoes! You could also try aqua jogging.... |

| Depending on how big the blisters are you can try putting Band-aids over them when you walk. Mole skins by Dr. Scholl's work well too. After the blisters heal you should have nice callouses and then it probably will not be a problem. |
