| anyone have any clue on how many calories it burns......im on it for about 15 min and it feels like alot ....im a cyclist and this workout puts cycling down a few. |

| your not gonna burn anything if its only fifteen minutes, hope your doing other excersises. IM that case, the fan doesnt make a difference, its there to cool you down, and try to start going twenty minutes, your quiting before your probably even starting to sweat and burn of calories. |

| I found a table estimating the calories burned per hour for stationary bike riding. (See URL below). You'll have to judge for yourself whether your level of work on the fan bike is moderate, casual or vigorous.I'm a bit mystified that the burn rate is estimated in calories per hour per 100 lbs. of body weight. The aspect of this that I don't grok is that stationary bike riding doesn't seem to involve having to support or transport your weight, so except for differences in the mass of your legs, why does body weight figure as such a multiplier in this estimation chart. |
