| I'm 6'0 and weigh 260 pounds, and I'm starting a weight loss program on Saturday. My goal is to lose 40 pounds before fall semester of college next year. But at what point would people start to notice the weight loss? 10 pounds? 20? And would losing 40+ pounds be a dramatic difference in the grand scheme of things? |

| There is a medical chart which shows how much weight one can loose depending on ones age, height and medical condition.Your family physician is the best person to guide you. |

that depends on how observant and/or supportive they are! i mean, i would probably notice if some one at 260 dropped ten pounds, but i know a lot of people who would only begin to notice at maybe twenty or twenty five.. but sometimes people arent very encouraging or eager to boost morale - so as long as you know you are losing weight, nothing else should matter. good luck p.s- please dont believe the guy pushing that weight loss product.. those stupid pills and powders will NOT help you, and you will only end up more frustrated and demotivated at the end of each futile effort to lose weight with them. |
