| teen here, 13 years old 5"2 and weight 108 and just want to looks 10 pounds. because my weight isn't really good- it's just fat. my friends admit it too, if i squeeze my stomach it just flub that i gained from just eating.i've tried so many diets already- grapefruit, exercising and stuff- and it's been 2 months and i've not lost a pound. i've GAINED 4 pounds!can someone tell me a more effective diet plan. meals and exercise included |

| well, my health teacher said tat in this age 13 you might be gowing through pueberty and your body makes necesairy fats that you need and shouldnt loose continue your dieting and excersie |

| join track! I was 5'6 and 130 at the beginning of the year. I joined cross country and lost 15 pounds. I didn't even mean to. I think track might be as useful. I say join track because you get in an extracurricular activity, and get to make friends at the same time. If you don't know anyone on the team, ask one of your friends to do it with you. |

| This is something you need to discuss with your parents. Although they might try to persuade you otherwise, after I talked to my parents about my own weight problems they understood and helped me. What I do is do some type of cardio for an hour a day and drink either water or milk. No soda, high sugar foods, and chips. If you're having healthy portions and not overdoing it, the weight will naturally fall off. Hope this helps! |

| DIETS DONT WORK!!! Get it through all of your guys thick skulls. Im a teen and the only thing to do is to work out and get involved in sports. Jeasum Crimadee, you guys need to get off the couch, get involved, and start moving. This is the best advice I can give you. Its all up to you and others who read this. |

| By the way you are 13 and shoudln't be too worried about weight. You will hit a point at about age 15 where your "baby fat" from puberty will naturaly leave your body. And 5'2" and 108 pounds is perfectly normal. But a healthy way to lose a little weight is to give up sweets (cake, candy, cookies, ect.) and lessen your portions. I am NOT saying starve yourself, but just don't stuff yourself. Eat until you are a little less than satisfied, but don't overeat or snack later. I lost 30 pounds doing this. Please remeber to not become obssed with losing weight, love yourself for who you are not for what others want you to be. |
