|
| I'm a 31 year old female, 5'2" 125-128 lbs, with 28-30% body fat. My target weight should be about 110-115, with no more than 22% body fat. But since i've been 14, yo-yo dieting has been my second name. Gain a little here, lose a little here, my biggest being 155 and my smallest being 115. I can't afford to eat alot of good foods, so when I do diet, it's usually a couple of pieces of fruit, and a couple of salads and maybe some eggs for that day. But I calculated that to only being 600 calories when I include glasses of milk. Is that ok or do I need more? I don't want meat to be a protein source. |

| 600 calories per day is a starvation diet and will cause your body to go into conservation mode and put down fat stores. YOu will destroy muscle tissue which you never get back unless you start doing weight bearing exercise. You need to eat 1300-1400 calories per day to loose weight. Muscle burns calories so try and do some weight bearing exercise. You need to eat protein food to build muscle tissue. You can get protein from eggs, nuts and dairy. You will need complex carbs from potatoes, wholegrain breads and cereals and green leafy vegetables. Eating every 2 - 2 1/2 hours having 260 calories each meal will keep your metabolism going and promote fat loss. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.HOpe this helps. |

| Drink plenty of water 70 percent of the time you think your hungry your not the body somewhere along the line lost the inabillity to tell the difference between hunger and thirst. You dont need money to be thin. Just eat small but often your body will continuously burn fat its only when there is a drought from lack of water or food that it changes the metabolism. If you starve yourself your body will burn food at a slower rate to keep you going by eating small but regular you dont binge eat and you fool your body into burning food quicker because it dont go into shock. Also if you drink tea or coffee stop the sugar use a sweetener.walk more take the stairs instead of a lift. Nuts are good small amounts not roasted plenty of vegetables cut down on Bread this is really rubbish it stays inside for 3 days eat a banana for fibre instead low fat yogurt i eat like this through the day and have a normal meal at night keeping the fat contents under 20 grams a day and most of all you have to want to do it and not just think it.I wish you luck |
