I'm really self concious about my body, because I am about 50 pounds overweight. [14 yrs. old- 183lbs. But, I keep loosing and gaining weight, yesterday I weighed 178! My scale isn't messed up either.] Oh, and this is what I've had to eat today:sunflower seeds, 3 pieces of french toast, an apple, tonight i'm having pepperoni pizza and soda.I dance almost everyday, since its my week off from school, but I either feel like I'm gonna pass out or can't breathe. How can I lose weight! Its so wierd, because no matter how much I weigh, I still look the same. When I was like 11, I was skinny. I even had a four pack, but I can't lose weight now. I think it's mainly because I over eat. And its really bad, and I'm worried for my health too. I have really bad ankles, My knees hurt [from being fat], and I get sick a lot. I've even considered puking, but I know how bad that is for you. If anyone has a diet plan for all meals of the day, and excersizes I should do ect. please say themThanks guys. But, Andrew, what do you mean I won't listen to anyone so you can't help me or whatever you said?

I just can't help you sorry, since you don't want to listen to other people or yourself, eat the right thing and stop being greedy, and you need to lay off the junk food like pizza and soda, drink more water, jog outside around people and let them look at you jogging, you can also go to a gym and exercise with people, you can dance everyday, do sit ups everyday, eat some salad, wait at least 3 months then check again.

Okay, first of all, the fluctuations are normal and no, it doesn't mean your scale is messed up. Everybody will fluctuate by up to a few percent of body weight throughout the day -- because of what you take in and what goes out. If I drink two sixteen-ounce glasses of water, I'll be about two pounds heavier -- just as if I had stood on the scale holding those glasses of water before I drank them. But that doesn't mean I've "gained weight."The tricky part of losing weight is that if you eat just a little bit more or less, your body will take it in stride and not change much -- but if you eat a lot more without burning it off, it will save it, and if you eat a lot *less*, your body will panic and think you're going to starve, so it will use up as little as possible. So don't undereat, but try to make healthful choices and stop eating when you're full. If you aren't sure whether you're full, stop after a moderate portion and wait about fifteen minutes -- sometimes it takes that long to register. (You can also try eating more slowly, but I know that's challenging when you're at school. Razz) I know that when you're eating something that tastes good, it's tempting to take one more bite and then one more, and so on, but it's wiser to chew them slowly and enjoy each one, then stop when you've filled up. It may help to try to plan ahead so that what's near you when you're hungry will not be anything greasy or "junky."If your joints are complaining, *don't* start trying to run. Razz Dancing is great if it's fun for you, but running and jumping are rough on the joints. (And most programs on how to get started running seem to be written by people who have no clue what it's like to be out of shape, anyway.) Lifting weights -- safely and correctly, with good form! -- and walking are much more reasonable exercises to start with.Don't take "No pain, no gain" too seriously. It *is* true that if you start exercising more than extremely lightly, you'll probably have some muscle soreness (though stretching and having lots of water can help), but if something hurts during your exercise -- especially if it's a joint, or a tearing sensation -- STOP IT RIGHT AWAY. Injuring yourself is not going to make you healthier. Exercise should make you tired, not broken.

well if you really want to lose weight, maybe you can cut out drinking soda and drink some water instead. You might gain weight by drinking water but, if you drink at least 5-8 glasses a day, you will pee it all out and you will lose weight!!It sounds gross but that's the easiest way to stay in shape without really trying.and DON'T consider puking EVER!!!! If you ever start doing it, just like puking once, you wont stop!
