I really want to lose 10-15 lbs. by my birthday(april 1st)i am currently a 15 yr. old grl who is abt 5 ft. 3 or 2 and weighs around 107-110 lbs. i use to be really underweight(like 89 lbs) and i realized that and just started eating so much even when i wasnt hungry. which makes me regret that so much bc i gained soo much weight. i mean i dont look bad i just dont really care for the way i look. and i feel like all the hard work i put into going on a diet failed bc i use to be 150 and i lost a ton of weight in a sort amount of time. okay well neways tell me if i do this plan that i can lose my 10-15 lbs. by my deadline. okay so i do about 30 min. of cardio about 6 days a week. soccer practice on fridays for an hour. and then games on sundays. 120 crunches. 80 leg lifts.100-300 jumping jacks. 80 tricep dips. and 80ish of another ab workout. i tried to do this routine this whole week and last week but i have just been to too many parties where there was so much food i couldnt control.but honestly this week and many weeks to come i will work my butt off on getting back on track. oh and also how many calories should i eat. bc i am having trouble with eating too much of the wrong things. like lately i have been taking a liking to too many grains. like breads and such and the carbs are def. not good for me well too many i mean. just can someone give me advice bc i am sooo desperate to lose this weight. i regret every moment that i ate to gain back the weight i did =[ it's quite depressing really. i mean it's all i think abt. and i hate it. i just want to lose the weight and put myself out of my misery.ya that sounded kind of weird but it is true. thanx for ur advice and support in advancewell i am in shape and then i am not.if that makes sense...but i have only started doing the workout regime for maybe a week or so. the problem was that i ate too many calories so i didnt even lose any weight or atleast i am positive i havent. i just really want to lose atleast 12

Um. You don't need to lose weight. I'm 5'3" and would love to weight 110. If you lose much more then you will be back to being underweight.

I am seventeen and I have the same diet type obsession thing your are going through. My tactics are cut out sugar completly!!! It is extremly difficult , but the only thing sugar does is make you fat. You are only supposed to have 40 g. of sugar a day, and if possible try to make that sugar organic. Cut out dairy, white bread, white rice, refined sugar and also salt makes your body retain water so then you have extra water weight to carry around. ...this is very difficult, but once you do it for about two weeks you NOTICE it so much and you can get the hang of it. =D

The Best Way to Lose WeightAccording to the British Nutrition Foundation "To lose weight, the energy intake from food must be less than the energy output". This is why calorie counting is the most effective weight loss method. It goes straight to the heart of the problem - no fad diets, pills or special eating plans are necessary.Losing weight through calorie counting is relatively easy. You won't have to put normal life on hold while calorie counting. Added benefits are that calorie counting raises your awareness of what your body needs; educates you about what's in what you eat, and helps you learn how to eat healthily for life.In order to lose weight you need to eat less than the average requirements of calories per day. To lose 1lb a week you need a negative calorie balance of 500 calories per day. To lose weight at 2lb a week you need to reduce your calorie intake by 1000 calories a day.Recommended Daily Calorie Intake http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/logout/calorie_intake.htmStarting to Calorie CountFirst you'll need to work out how many calories you need each day to maintain your current weight, and how many to lose weight at a rate of 1-2lbs a week. Next you need to keep track of how many calories are in the foods and drinks you consume each day, to make sure you have a negative calorie balance. The Calories Chart will help us count calories in food and drinks that are regularly eaten. http://www.caloriecounting.co.uk/resources/intro.htmYou can do this by keeping a food diary and checking the calorie content of what you eat against the Pyramid of health eating.Eating healthily isn't complicated once we know the basics. The Pyramid of health eating will help us plan our meals and be healthy. http://www.nutrition.com.sg/he/hepyr.aspIf any method of losing weight could be described as 'painless' - this, I believe, is as close as it gets. Simply having real awareness about the things you eat and drink each day, the number of calories in them, and the number of calories you use, enables you to start losing weight by making relatively small changes. Better still, you're much more likely to develop eating and lifestyle habits that you are happy with, and can therefore maintain.Use the Ideal Height Weight Chart to look up your healthy weight range. http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/logout/news_features/idealweight. htm
