| I did it back in college. I lost a lot of weight but the circumstances were different than it is now: My roommate cooked all of the food for us, I walked to my job at the mall, was on my feet everyday, and I danced every weekend. Now that life is more stable I don’t really walk anywhere and I never go dancing on the weekends. I’m thinking about joining again but don’t know if it’s going to work or if its worth it. I know its much easier (and cheaper) to lose weight on your own but I’m the type of person that needs that outside, strict regimen. If you have done any of these diets (or others similar to it) can you tell me the pros, cons, how much you lost per week, and whether or not you have been able to keep it off?If you haven’t done these programs but have other suggestions, please share! ThanksBy "did it" I mean LA Weight Loss. I haven't tried Jenny or QWLC |

| Hi~ I joined Weight Watchers last year February and it was the best thing I ever did. I joined with a friend so it made it a little easier, however everyone that goes is truly nice and there for the same reason as you so they don't judge you like that. You could easily do WW at home without attending the weekly meetings ($10). The meetings are more for support then anything. I chose the points system and it worked out great. I lost 5 pounds the first week. I couldn't believe it. I was so excited to see the weight loss on the scale, I stayed and stuck to it. You are able to eat normal foods from the store and even fast food. You just track your points. It's best to attend the first meeting and buy the packet. It was $20 for the Dining Out Guide Book, Points Tracker and Exercise Slider. And also your Complete Points Daily book for everyday food. You just eat lots of veggies, fruits and water with your breakfast, lunches and dinner. I wish you the best in what ever you chose! It's hard work, but it pays. I only walked on a tread-mill or outside and did a low impact video which I bought from WW and I have lost over 40 pounds. It's about a lifestyle change for the better and I'm so glad I did. Take care and e-mail me anytime if your interested in knowing anything else. |

| I would suggest trying cleansing your body. I found cleansing to be the best weight loss program. I have ever tried. I lost 12 pounds in a week and 29 pounds in a month. I feel better since I removed the toxins from my body and shed some unwanted pounds. I did weight watchers, Jenny Craig and Medifast. I found that cleansing was the best since I saw results quickly and that kept me motivated to stick on the program.
