| I am 14 (I have not yet hit the muscle-on part of puberty yet), and basically, over the summer, i want to gain a ridiculous amount of muscle. Basically, I need some help, as in the best way to gain all of it.My main focus is my arms, but I also want a strong chest, abs, and quads. Also, how long should i work one group of muscles, and how long should I rest between workouts. These are my current stats (ya, i know im weak)Bench: 70 lbs - 10 repsCurl: 30 lb dumbbell - 3-5 timesSquat: 160 lbs - 10 timesGoals by September:Bench: 200 lbs - 10 repsCurl 40 lb dumbbell 10 timesSquat: 300 lbs - 10 repsRight now I'm just doing push ups and crunches at home, since im getting my weight set + bench in the next couple weeksLastly, I want to keep my arms balanced. My friend's deltoids are very small compared to hit bicep + tricep, and gives his arm a funny appeareance where the shoulder is a little lump, then it pinches, then it turns big again when you get down to the bicep + tricep. |

| Well, if you don't care much about strength and want only size, do high weight for low reps. this will tear your muscles more and when they rebuild, they will rebuild bigger. Make sure you drink powdered protein shakes or have a lot of protein in your diet because this will help with muscle growth. If you want both strength and size (This takes much longer) you need to have mid to upper weight for medium reps (8-10). Good luck! |
