Okay my 2 sisters are both going through a nasty divorce so decided to go on vacation to get away from the mess. Together they have 10 children (5 each) plus my 4 girls:girls - 4, 6, 6, 8, 8, 10, 10, 12, 12, 12boys - 3, 5, 7, 9The kids arrived today and are staying until the 13th. They just arrived 1/2 hour ago. They are now running around in the indoor children's exercise gum and pool. I see that there is no possible way for me to watch them all, so were going to have the buddy system. What do you think of this? If you like it pair them up, if you don't like the idea explain why and what I should do instead. There are only 2 adults me and my husband and don't tell me to get friends to stay with me. Thanks a lot.Yes we have time each day (on the schedule) where we go out somewhere. At home they are okay. The 6 girls are staying in the downstairs guest room. There are 3 bunk beds. The 4 boys are staying in the upstairs guest room. It have 2 bunk beds. My girls will stay in there own room. Right now, the kids things are settled in the room. There beds are made, clothes in drawer, toys on the shelves, etc. Were still using the schedule, but how are we going to keep track of the kids still?

When you go places yes the buddy system is a good idea, as for at home no, let them adjust and spend time by them sleves. Also the last thing the 12 year olds are going to want to do is watch the younger ones. I would make certain places off limits if needed. Right now I would find where you are going to put them to sleep. First don't put your own children our or make them stay somewhere else. I would put the 12 year olds together. The 8 and 10 year olds together and the 4 and 6 year olds together and the boys could all stay in one room.

Yea the buddy system is fine. Get the oldest to help with the youngest. They help pick out clothes and help with bath time and snack time. Good luckIt's also time to sit them down and explain what you expect from them and how the rules work for your household.
