you should be eating 4-5 meals per day, when you eat little, your body thinks it is starving and ends up conserving energy and storing everything as fat. another sure fire way to lose weight is to increase the intensity of your walks, start power walking or jogging for the same amount of time (distance will increase) and you will therefore burn more calories. good luck!

I have lost over 100 lbs and I can tell you, you are not eating often enough. Your body is a machine and you must feed it 4 or 5 times a day. Yes you have to watch calories but you have to eat that often so your body will let go of the fat it has stored. If you only eat 2 times even if it is low calorie your body will hold on to it because it thinks it is starving. Good Luck to you, I know how hard it is but you can do it.

You need to eat more meals with a smaller quantity of food. Eating more frequent and smaller meals will help much more than eating 1-2 large meals. Are you saying you lost 25lbs. in 1 month? Because that's great, so if this is working for you and you are still losing, stick with it, but consider trying more frequent, smaller meals. It's easier to burn off smaller meals during the day than eating 1 large meal, especially if you are eating your larger meals closer to bedtime.

I'm a fitness instructor. The best/cheapest way to lose weight is to NOT buy the goodies! Chocolate and candy, and cakes and soda are expensive! Don't purchase them, don't eat them, you'll save money. If you've been doing the same routine for 4 years, you need to change it! Your body is used to it now, and it isn't going to take off pounds. 220 at 5'7" isn't that heavy for a male....so you have lost weight, and you need to define the muscles....I suggest free weights, which will really cause the muscles to burn. Eat more proteins, than sugars...keep on drinking the water, and perhaps a muscle building protein shake...

You need more exercise, particularly some weight training. Also plan your meals and especially eat a big breakfast. You might want to look at the Men's Health Magazine "Abs" diet. That covers eating and exercise.

hey, you will lose weight, and you already have which is great, be proud!! i think you should try eating more regularly, which will keep your metabolism burning calories consistently. If you only eat one meal a day you run the risk of slowing your metabolism, and then your body will hold onto calories in the fear that you might not give it more. Think of your metabolism as a fire that you have to keep adding to and keep burning. So, try 5 small healthy meals a day, for example a cup of oatmeal and some fruit for breakfast, then a couple of hours later a low fat yogurt and an apple, then a few hours later a small whole grain sandwich, then a handful of almonds and a low fat cheese stick, then have a light dinner that is low on carbs and high in protein. Also, not eating after 6pm REALLY helps with weight loss as your body is inactive while you sleep, and if you have digested everything before you lay down, you will be burning fat overnight too. Hope this helps...

First of all a 25 pound weight loss in 4 weeks is excellent. Most of the time you should figure on losing 2 lbs a week max. You are doing far above that so give yourself credit. You are far beyond the average. You did not gain over night and you will not lose overnight. Balance is the key. You also need to remember to eat every 4 hours. This keeps your metabolism optimized. If you eat less and continue to lose at this rate your weight loss will eventually stop completely as your body goes into starvation mode and tries to hold onto the weight. The 4 hour eating pattern will stop that from happening, boost your metabolism and actually speed your progress.

I think you should be working on your mindset first.go to: How to lose 2 pounds a week? : http://www.loseweighthappy.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view &id=207&Itemid=62I believe that weight loss always starts from mindset. This is the reason why i am able to lose 15kg in 2 months and maintain for 3 years straight, all the way till my pregnancy. You see, we are what we are today because of our past... our past actions.. these actions are decided by our decisions in what to eat and whether to exercise lead and they lead us to having this figure today..These decisions come from your mindsets. Now, suppose I do teach you how to lose the weight and you do lose it.. but if your mindsets and decisions are the same.. and so your actions are the same. So you would continue to eat as you did, sleep as you did and ta da!After three months, you probably will not maintian your weight loss but instead go back to square one.. dun you agree? ;)So it is impt to get your mindsets right first. Before you start any weight loss program, here are some questions you might like to think about to prepare your mindset for weight loss:1) What is my goal? I want to lose __kg in __ time.2) Why do I want to achieve this goal? (if possible, come up with 50 reasons)3) If I do not achieve it, what pains will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)4) If I achieve it, what happiness will I have? (come up with as many reasons as possible)5) What will happen to me if I continue my current situation for the next 10 years?6) Then when do I want to take action? Some solutions I can offer you for diet:Breakfast: eat fruits/drink fruit juiceLunch: Less carbo, more veg and fruits, less seafood, meat and eggsDinner: Same as lunch but no solid food after 8pm. Soups are great dinnersIf you want to exercise to enhance the speed of weight loss. Go for some light jogging or do something you enjoy like an aerobic class or kick boxing class...go to for more..:the link:: http://www.loseweighthappy.info/index.php?option=com_content&task=view &id=207&Itemid=62
