Hi, I am 18 years old and want to look good!! I am 5'7, 167 pounds, and want to maybe drop to down to 150, so i could maybe actually see my abs. I am not at all bad shape, i can withstand some of most rigorous workouts such as circuits, lift a good amount for my weight, and do cardio for long periods of time. My biggest problem is that i have too much body fat, and need to lose it, and lost it very fast. I have started to workout on a regular basis, i have been going to gym 3-4 times a week, and do 200 pushups every morning, i have kept this routine for about 3 weeks. I need to maximize my results. I need to how i can do that. I have changed me diet almost completlymy diet consists of only three small meals throughout the day.My breakfast is the only set meal, i have 3 egg whites and 1 yolk, fried over easy every morning. For lunch i eat high protein, and same for dinner.I have reduced my carb intake to as little as possible. Is there anything i may do different, tomaximize results

First of all, you need to eat six small meals a day eat every three hours to keep your metabolism going when you do not do that your body hibernates so eating more often will help and do not fry your egg whites, eat protein and green verggies, and lots of water and you should see the weight come off but eat more often and stay healthy good luck.

If you want hardcore maximum results, eat only tuna and drink only water. It's hard but it works. Your diet sounds good though, you should lose weight on it.

Hi,I recently lost 50 pounds and i know how hard it is.your doing everything right! well done!remember to train as often as you can.. i train all the time. on my days off, on weekends, in the morning, at lunch, in the afternoons, after dinner. when ever you have some free time, do some excercise.. they say 'dont go over board', but when you want results, you need to train as much as you can. Do lots of cardio work to burn fat. I have a membership at a gym, so they run classes all throughtout the day. i do a cardio class (spin, circut, body attack, body step, run class and so on - to burn calories) then i do a weights class (body pump, pilates or boxing to build muscle) straight after so i can maximise my workout and get the best of both worlds.your eating sounds ok, but remember you dont have to cut out all carbs as they make your muscles work through hard classes. Muscles need energy to work, energy comes from carbs, so dont cut them all out. i small piece of rye toast is ok in the morning if your going to work out.. it'll help fuel you through your excercise and u'll b able to kick ass in high intensity classes without feeling faint or tired.ok i hope this helps! if you have ne other questions, let me know.....MKB

There is only one way to lose weight, that is to use more calories than you take in. I agree with the first person. The only thing I would add is that you should still keep your carbs up. Why? Possible health problems, ketosis for one. Without carbs, the body doesn't burn fat efficiently and ketones accumulate in the blood. Ketosis is often accompanied by side effects such as nausea, headaches and fatigue. In addition to ketosis, low carbs diets may cause dehydration, electrolyte loss, calcium depletion and possible kidney problems. Gout is another possible side effect since the uric acid competes with ketones for excretion. This higher blood uric acid level can also increase the risk of kidney failure. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies are also a problem on such a unbalanced weight loss regimen. Low carbs does help you lose weight...initially. And for the most part it's water weight from muscle and liver glycogen depletion. Sounds like you work out quite a bit, which is great, but you might want to consider a balance of your intake. About 50-60% of your calories from Carbs, 20-25 percent Protein and 20-25 percent fat.

Hi,There are a lot of sob stories out there about people and weight they've gained. I myselfwas one of them, but I'm not going to sit here and bore you with my story. Just rememberas you're reading online, don't believe everything you hear, there is no "easy" button whenit comes to weight loss.It all comes down to hard work eating right and knowing what type of exercises to do. Another big problemis a lot of people work hard to get the weight off, and once its off they let everything gothey start eating the fast foods again, stop exercising. The weight comes back, and they wonder why ? There is a program I used... well I still use it. It has a lot of good information in it,so feel free to check it out if you want. Best of luck to you,-TomHere is the site: http://weightlossSolution1.blogspot.com/
