What I think is:We used to be cave men, so this meant that we had to hunt to get our food. This means that whenever food was available we ate it because there was no guarantee that we would get anymore for days to come. This helped us survive and not go hungry. In our modern age we have food in plentiful supply that there is pretty much a 100% guarantee that you won't go hungry is you live in an MEDC such as the USA. However, us humans still have are cave man brains in our heads so when we have a plate full of foood we don't just stop when we are hungry we make sure we eat all of it no matter whether it's the fattest big mac you'ev ever seen!

Obesity is mostly in genetics and of course eating too many calories a day. If you do not burn off those calories by excersizing, you will gain weight.Diet pills are a good way to lose weight quick, but can be life threatening if you have too many. Try to take fewer diet pills and cut down on carbs and calories. Eating a lot of fruit cant hurt either!

Poor parenting...neglecting your children and just giving them food..If we didn't have fat people we wouldn't have obesity. You do the math.Self control is the natural cure.Exercise will get rid of your baggage, it's tried and proven.

You're definitely not fat! You're in the perfect weight range for your height. Most diet pills are a useless rip off, and can even be dangerous, and those that work need to be prescibed by a doctor - and he wont prescribe you them unless you'tre hugely obese, which is not your case. The biggest cause of obesity is overeating and, even more importantly, lack of exercise - evryone is so sedentary nowadays. Me, I eat like a truck driver, but I work out 5 times a week and am a size 3, so it just goes to show. The quickest (safest) way of losing weight is to take up exercise (it doesn't have to be as intensive as my regime!) and to eat sensibly. If you have difficulty with portion sizes or recipes, see a nutritionist - you're local gym should have one.Hope this helps, and you don't need to lose weight, just get toned and healthy!

That sounds fine for you your weight and height matches well. I'm about that maybe a little over 130. I used to be heavy when I was younger but I want to be smaller than I am now but my hips are really wide so it's not really possible for me to get smaller I just have to accept it. Obesity, people don't want to exercise, eat too much fast food or eat at a diner or resturant. People eat too much like what is in front of them. Diet pills...sometimes. Exercise is the best even if it is just walking further in a parking lot or somewhere.

Diet pills do nothing but rake in money. No one needs pills to lose weight...they need to adjust their eating habits. Eat a healthy diet with lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and grains, and some dairy products, while eliminating the fat, and you will lose weight if your body needs to. Your body will stablize at a comfortable weight. Continue to eat healthy and you won't gain weight. Regardless of the propaganda the pro-fat groups spout about how fat is beautiful, the fact is fat is NOT beautiful. Ever see a pound of fat? It's a disgusting sight. A moderate amount of fat is necessary on a body....an excess amount of fat is like an excess of anything....not good for you. Someone with 20-30+ pounds of excess fat on their body is at a disadvantage. Their entire body must work harder because of the excess weight. There is nothing positive about carrying around excessive weight. If you feel healthy and good at 130 lbs, that's great. It's an appropriate weight for 5'5". What other people think is of no consequence. They would do better to worry about themselves. Again, the key to maintaining a healthy weight is a healthy diet.
