If I drink two 250 calorie 8 oz bottles a day plus one green meal consisting of salad and some meat protein. How much weight should I expect to lose in a month. My starting weight is 200 pounds and my height is 5'4. I have a BMI of 34 so i'm obese. It's a temporary solution and I know its not the best just wondering if anyone has lost from this method.

Meal replacement shakes don't fool your body into thinking its full. They can help you in a pinch every now and they give you vitamins and minerals. But they can also set you up for bad eating habits when your body starts feeling "gypped" . Stop focusing on food and start focusing on burning the food you eat with strength training and cardiovascular exercise. Only drink one meal replacement drink a day and eat chicken without skin,or fish (tuna, trout or salmon) instead of the second meal replacement with a salad. If that is not convenient for you consider eating out. Jimmy John's, Subway and Cosi offer healthy alternative meals you can eat that won't throw you off your goals. Remember eating food is fun for a reason... so you don't forget to do it. Don't set yourself up for failure by drink two meals a day.

Have you heard of negative calorie foods? These are food items that need more energy to digest than what your body get from them. It is the best way to lose weight as you do not feel hungry. You eat more than 3 meals and yet lose weight.
