| I have gained7.5 pounds over the summer so I thought it might be a good idea to start back on my schedule.What are some good breakfast ideas?I was wanting to know some good exercise ideas.OHHHH also I run Cross Country cheer and play basket ball.So I need some leg,stomach,and arm exercises.And some good {healthy} recipesi am in middl;e school |

| Here's a good breakfast idea: smoothies made with oatmeal. Sounds weird, tastes good! Plus it will fill you up.Microwave a small portion of oatmeal, like 1/2 cup after cooking, put in a blender several ice cubes, a scoop of whey protein powder, a few tablespoons of yogurt, and some fruit or frozen berries, plus the oatmeal. Blend it for several minutes so that it about doubles in volume. This will keep you feeling satisfied all morning and is very healthy. I got it from Prevention Magazine. |

| Fruit is one of the best breakfasts. It's easy to digest, has natural sugars that pump you up in the morning, and it's yummy. By the way, by the sports you listed, it sounds like you're in high school. If you are, just be aware that you will gain weight as your body becomes more womanly. Don't get stuck on the numbers on the scale. Eat well and exersice often and you'll look great. |

| While fruit is a healthy addition to any breakfast because of its nutrients, fiber, and sugar spike properties, consider some protien and fat as well to get your metabolism up and burning for optimal weight reduction. If you enjoy eggs, try them scrambled, hardboiled, poached, in an omelet with cheese, or baked in the toaster oven with cheese and veggies as a mini quiche.You can cook your eggs in olive oil for a good source of fat, or have an apple with peanut butter.Multigrains are good sources of fiber and energy. Try some oatmeal with a bit of milk and cinnimon for something sweet, or a piece of toast. You can cook an egg over easy in olive oil, dip some toast in it, and you have a nutritional breakfast.Try to include veggies and fruit somewhere throughout the day as well, to get the nutritional benfits and satiation from those as well. |

| Iwrestle and play football and i'm going to App. in the fall to play ball.....some advice i can give you is to eat little meals out thought the day not large meals it real doesnt matter what but not lots of surgars, just like a bear eats large meals a day it is big stronge in slow, but a deer eats little meals though out the day and it is lean and quick.....1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil 1 onion, chopped 4 garlic cloves, minced 1 carrot, peeled and finely chopped 1 celery stalk, finely chopped 1 pound shredded cooked turkey (preferably dark meat) 3 cups marinara sauce 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves Salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 pound spaghetti Freshly grated Parmesan Heat the oil in a heavy large frying pan over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and saute until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the carrot and celery and saute until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes. Add the turkey and saute 1 minute. Add the marinara sauce. Decrease the heat to medium-low and simmer gently for 15 minutes to allow the flavors to blend, stirring often. Stir in the basil. Season the sauce, to taste, with salt and pepper. (The sauce can be made 1 week ahead. Cool the sauce completely, then transfer it to a container and freeze for future use. Bring the sauce to a simmer before using.) Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until just tender but still firm to bite, stirring often, about 8 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup of the cooking liquid. Add the pasta to the sauce and toss to coat, adding enough reserved cooking liquid to moisten as needed. Serve with the Parmesan. |
