I'm about 5 months pregnant, and I've been on a healthy diet, eating only organic and natural foods, and getting regular exercise. This is my first pregnancy, and I want to make sure my baby is healthy.I attended a Halloween party last month, and a lady I met there gave me a pill that would protect my unborn child from any second hand smoke or binge drinking for up to 12 hours. This was very useful, because I was able to have a wonderful time without worrying about my child.Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the pill she gave me!! I think it started with a V, like vica-something. Next week is my office Christmas party, and I want to be able to loosen up and really connect with my coworkers. There is an open bar.Does anybody know the name of the pill that allows pregnant women to drink safely!?

Can't say I've ever heard of this - are you sure she wasn't winding you up? Just stick to juice and you will be fine.

There's no such thing! Don't ever take any kind of medication someone that isn't a doctor gives you! Especially since you are pregnant. You are so careful in every other aspect, I am shocked that you would even consider taking some kind of random pill someone gave you. Please don't do that!

I have had 3 children and have never heard of any such pill. I do not believe it exist. Whoever gave it to you did not tell you the truth. Please do not drink while pregnant!!! It can do permanent damage to your baby. Remember that you should never drink at work functions and it is best to connect with people without alcohol.Good Luck with your new baby. I wish you health and happiness.

Well, I don't know of any drugs that start with a V that allow for the baby to enjoy a smoke free or alcohol free environment but they do have Viagra for women. I t may not help the baby any but it will surely loosen you up and could make you the life of the party.P.S. Let me know if you decide to try this and if the party will allow guests.

So you are pregnant and this pharamacist is giving you pills without a prescription? Interesting. Also against several federal laws.He has kids in college and he pays your rent? You are a kept woman-a mistress. Face facts, girlie. How do you figure you are independent? I guess you call it independent. I call it, he won't marry you. Is he married, on top of everything else? Some independence you got there. There is NO SUCH PILL> Why in the world living world would you you take an unknown pill from a stranger at a party ANYTIME EVER and esp, when you are pregnant? You could have aborted. You could have bled to death. It could have been LSD or XTC.YOu can't REALLy be this kind of knuckle-head? This is a JOKE. right? Do not go to parties where there is indoor smoking, do not drink anything, do not take any unknown pills from anyone but a DOCTOR with a legal prescription....Do not go to office Christmas parties to loosen up-go to have a nice chat, eat a couple of cookies, and leave sober. It you loosen up around your co-workers you will leave with the reputation of the company drunk, and an idiot who drinks while pregnant. There is so much wrong with this picture I can' find Waldo. You need to re-think this whole thing. Are you giving your baby up for adoption? I hope so. His college-aged kids are giong to hate you, if they don't already. His baby will grow up without a daddy.PS vicodin is hydrocodone (like codeine) it is a sedative and drinking alcohol with it can cause unconsciousness and death.
