See you at the orthopedist's office.Wear good, supportive athletic shoes when you're on the treadmill to avoid injury.

Some snugly-fitting sneakers are best. Wear cotton socks, too - those thin skimpy ones can make you vulnerable to blisters, and those really suck.

The only thing I see about to happen, is your back beginning to hurt from lack of arch support.Otherwise, just be careful them socks don't get stuck in the belt. OUCH!

you should always run on the treadmill with running shoes. they absorb a large part of the impact of your landing. the impact of landing is carried from the feet, through the knees, and into the lower back. you want to dissipate as much of the force of impact as you can...the treadmill does a little bit, but most impact absorption is done through a good pair of running shoes.

Not really. A good pair of athletic walking shoes provide support that helps protect your feet, knees, hips, and back.

Your feet will be sore and the jolt to your ankles up to your lower back will give problems to. Just get some shoes.
