I good and healthy rate of weight loss is between 1-5lbs a week. Any more is terrible for the body. Exercise to lose the most tummy and thighs is going to be a combination of interval aerobic work and weight training. DO weight work! Doesn't have to be heavy but it is twice as effective as cardio and so important for women! The only diet I can recommend is the diet given by the "Body For Life" book. It works wonders! As a personal trainer I recommend it highly.

Healthy Eating and Exercise, you lose around 1kg a week, maybe more, depending on what your habits are now. To loose your stomach and thigh, do sit ups and squats. But doing this will build up your muscle tone, so you'll get 'firmer' but not loose weight (if you stick to your regular diet you may even gain). Muscle is heavier than fat, so this is ok. Dont go overboard though.

About two pounds per week. If you eat healthily and exercise, that's what you can expect, and if you keep it up, you can maintain that! However, your genetics will play a role as well. At a certain point, you'll hit the weight that is exactly perfect for you, and if you live a healthy lifestyle, that's the weight you'll stay. You won't lose two pounds per week until you weigh 70 pounds, in other words. But if you are overweight, that's what you can expect to lose. Keep in mind, though, that muscle weighs more than fat, so if your genetically programmed ideal weight is, say, 120 pounds, and you're fit, that might be perfect, for you. Weighing less than that doesn't necessarily mean you're actually thinner or in better shape. You could weigh 110 pounds and be much flabbier. So don't worry that it's only two pounds a week; you're getting much more fit, and you'll look better at 120 of muscle tone than you would at a 110 made up of fat. I hear that doing the bicycle is the best for tummy and thighs, which is nice cause it's easy: lay on your back and pedal your legs in the air. But honestly, you're fifteen. I wouldn't fret about it overmuch. Your body is going through a lot of changes, and you're still growing, and it takes a few years for everything to sort itself out. It's always good to be as healthy as possible, but don't stress yourself out over it. Sometimes things are out of your control, and unfortunately for you, at fifteen your body type is one of them. But good luck to you, anyway.

this is a very good question and i have been trying 2 eat healthier for a while now as well and ive done alot of research and read alot of books and even took some nutrition classes. this is a great site to find out how many calories you burn if all you did is stay in bed all day. http://health.discovery.com/tools/calculators/basal/basal.html this is a great book if your just learning about eating healthy. you can buy it or check it out at the library. http://www.amazon.com/Nutrition-Dummies-Carol-Ann-Rinzler/dp/047179868 1/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1196054888&sr=1-10 from what ive read the best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise and a healthy amount of weight to lose is 2lbs per week ( this may be more in the first few weeks of exercising because u lose water weight at first then the weight will taper off and you will lose about 2lbs per week).cardio such as arobics or walking at a fast pace is very good for burning extra calories and weight lifting (2lb weights or so) will help you build muscle. ( the more muscle you have the more calories you burn) this is a great site to find out where you are weight wise rite now. ( if your obese or slightly over weight etc) and it will also let you know what a healthy ideal weight would be for someone of your hight and age. http://www.consumer.gov/weightloss/bmi.htm#BMIthis is a good site for finding nutrition information on foods at all of your favorite resturants. this comes in handy if you eat out alot http://www.calorieking.com/ If that seemd long winded try these simple rules1: listen to your body, eat when your hungry and dont eat out of bordom .2: dont put to much pressure on yourself, losing weight is a slow process. it takes time, you didnt gain the extra weight all at once and you wont lose the weight all at once, only true lifestyle changes will help you lose weight and keep it off.3: if you havent been to the doctor in a while i sugest a checkup atleast because sever weight gain can be a possible sign of thyroid problems that can be treated with medications. or it can be a side effect of some medications you could already be taking.4: GET ACTIVE if you dont like 2 exercise think about getting into sports or some kind of outdoor project such as gardening ( which can burn up to 300 calories for 30mins)5: invest in a healthy cookbook such as http://www.amazon.com/Healthy-College-Cookbook-Quick-Cheap/dp/15801712 65/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1196056743&sr=1-1this book has great low fat low calorie dishes that taste great such as nochos supreme =) yummy.hope this helps. =)
