1 yr ago i was 50 KGs.after i came 2 a diffrnt country due to change of food habits i gained 5-6 Kgs. I want 2 loose these 5 kgs in the next 30 days.( want 2 start the new year as a new person))1.i plan to have 6 small meals.(which will contain more fibre,smaller proportions,less fat)2. do not have time for xercise. but can go for swimming twice a week.3.will drink lots of lukewarm water with lime.is there anything else i can do? i do not have time at all to do exercise. so any suggestions will b helpful. any suggestions on what type of foods( brown bread, chicken, brocollli, sprouts, cabbage) i should take more will b appreciated.my office is 40 mints drive away....ivthought in diffrnt ways...really theres no way of squeezing any type of exercise in!among all the the answers only jay seems to have thought alot b4 answering! i think il choose him as best answer...but wanna wait a little 2 c wht more comes up! THANX JAY btw...my height is 160 cms.

It sounds pretty good to me. Make sure you dont lose excess of 1kg per weekm as this probably would be the result of muscle and water loss not just fat loss. Even though fat is linked to weight gain, it doesnt mean you should have no fat. We need fat in our diets for many different functions. The only reason its linked to weight gain is because 1 gram of fat has more caloires compared to 1 gram of protein or carbohydrates. So its good that youre lowering your intake, but not eliminating fats. Theres always time for exercise! Walk to work / school, take the stairs or get off the train/tram a stop early. Just be as active as you can. Im not sure why youre drinking water with lime though but sure. Some people like to flavour their water with low calorie alternatives to sugary soft drinks so good move. There isnt a particular food you should be eating, just stick with your current plan and youll notice a difference soon =]

make sure you are eating breakfast. get the correct amount of sleep. eat good carbs like fruit and whole grains, not the bad like cake and cookies and such. Also try to eat something with protein at least 3 or so times a day, protein can help burn more calories when it is getting used in the body, then how fats or carbs burn- i believe it is 3x. digital scales are very effective, make sure you are weighing and measuring your food. you want to burn more than you eat to lose weight, without overly dropping your calorie intact- which can kill your metabolism. oh and quit with the reading of all these wait loss websites, typically they have gimmicks and most people dont stick with which ends up having you gain the weight right back after you stop doing the program. It is better to just chance how you eat on your own or with a food nutritionist, who can figure in more accurately to what you would need. not everyones body works the same so why would losing weight. and definitely try to get some exercise, even it is is only 10 to 15 minutes in a day, that can help also. If you are between 152 to 173 cm in height, then you are perfectly healthy, and stop worrying so much about the number on the scale. If you are eating healthy without over eating, eating when you are hungry and stoping when you are full, not using food to make you feel better- emotional reasons- some gain a lot of weight doing this, and you are exercising a couple a times a week even if it is only swimming twice a week, then you are doing fine. Quit beating your self up, it isnt worth it. Sounds good but change the water to freezing cold water because your body has to heat it down to room temperature and it uses your fat to do so which also speeds up metabolism more
