My girlfriend tried all sorts of different diets and products, most without success. Her friend let her try out a new Acai Berry product she was using and she now swears by it.Shes lost over 13 pounds already, most of the weight went from her tummy, hips, bottom and thighs. Apparently the Acai Berry flushes all the waste out your system and cleanses your body of toxins and bacteria. She got her own supply for free too, only had to pay like $5 shipping. Here's their site if you want to check it out: http://tinyurl.com/acaiberries

Portion control and exercise are the only things that will help. Diet pills are a quick fix and most a psychological effect. But it you are motivated, they are all pretty much a waste of $$. I don't know your economic situation but if you can afford a treadmill or recumbent bike they are great. No matter what the weather, you can exercise inside. You can get a used one pretty cheap. If not, or you have space constraints, workout videos are great. just living room and a DVD player. And you can watch your baby the whole time, they might even enjoy watching you bust your butt to the music! LOL!

To be completely honest, what I would do (and am doing) is start with 7 days of detox. I like the cabbage soup diet the best. (Its actually reccomended to do every 6 months) do this as a kick off, because you will lose a good chunk of pounds. Then start ups something like counting calories, or my favorite is weight watchers. I startted the detox yesterday and lost 3 pounds in a day (it is mostly water weight) and am now much more motivated. And weight watchers meetings are great! If you go to the meetings you will lose a significant amount more weight then if u were dieting alone. It is 40 bucks a month, but worth ir!

I've lost some weight recently by cutting out soda and all junk food. Don't skip meals, because that will mess up your metabolism. I've read that if you are craving something really bad, and you resist eating it, then the next time you are craving something it is easier to resist. It's like an exercise that increases your will power. It does work - try it.

I was 155 xmas of 07. My New years res. was to get down to 130. It was hard, but i just worked out a little in my home, Like run in place for 10 minutes. Get a routine for lifting some weights. Eat healthier. I know that sounds vague but really thats what it takes. I cut down my portion sizes and read up about them too. for Instance did you know 1 serv of meat is about the size of a deck of cards.when you eat a baked potato it should be the size of a computer mouse. and watch how much, butter, sr crm, cheese, bacon you add. The calories add up quickly.1 serv of Pasta should be about the size of a scoop of ice cream or tennis ball- red sauces are low-fat while cream sauces are richer and more fattening.1/2 cup is the standard serving size for cereal * 1 oz. meat: size of a matchbox * 3 oz. meat: size of a deck of cards or bar of soap—the recommended portion for a meal * 8 oz. meat: size of a thin paperback book * 3 oz. fish: size of a checkbook * 1 oz. cheese: size of 4 dice * Medium potato: size of a computer mouse * 2 Tbs. peanut butter: size of a ping pong ball * 1/2 cup pasta: size of a tennis ball * Average bagel: size of a hockey puck.Drink lots of water, you dont want to lose water weight. Water will help flush out toxins that are in your body. Get bottled water, or a filter for your faucet. or if you have a dispenser on the fridge, thats good too.I wrote an article to FitCeleb.com (ImNotObsessed.com) and they posted it about my weight loss, click here to read more... http://www.fitceleb.com/2008/10/12/i-blame-my-weight-loss-on-fitceleb- its-a-good-thing-thank-you-SparkPeople helped me greatly as well. Spark people helped me get started. You can create a free profile on their and enter your goals etc. It will help you get there, I promise. Just try.www.sparkpeople.com
