| yep thats exactly it. crash diets are just super extreme and unhealthy ways of losing weight fast. you gain back the weight within the next week depending on how long you dieted and how much weight you lost. |

| Tell you the truth.I thought i was eatting healthy 2 weeks, ago. i'd eat what ever i see. but i was extremely healthy. Because i'm very in-fit.But then i thought about getting my packs, to show. So i actually went on answer.yahoo.com/ and i started doing research. Here's what you should do.buy alot of fruits and Veggies, and do alot of cardio workouts, like running, swimming, walking, something that can get your heart rate to rise, do it every day. by the 2nd week you should see awsome results. its working for me. yesterday was my 2nd week, and my packs are showing. |

| If you starve yourself your body will adapt to less calories and you will not lose much weight or your body will adapt to less calories and you will indulge yourself weeks later and gain it back. Its mental not physical. Just eat healthy and work out. Sounds hard but once again it's mental. Eating disorders are bad and salad is good. A crash diet is designed to trick your body into losing weight but after a few weeks your body adjusts. |

| You've got the definition down pretty well. You usally start off strong, losing lots of weight (calorie restriction), then after a few days you break because of the extreme pressure it puts you under. Hence the word CRASH. your plan and weight loss crash, and you gain it back. (plus some, most of the time).How fast you gain it back depends on a lot of things. What type of metabolism you have, how active you are, how long you've been on the diet, your genetic make-up, and how healthy you eat on a normal day (not a crash-diet day). |
