| Is 1800 kcal a normal amount of calorie intake if the person in question is a 16 year old female, quiet thin and doesn't exercise more than maybe once a week though she regularly walks about 1 mile per day? I just wanted to see if my estimation was ok... |

| That sounds pretty good. Well done. But since she is still 16 and a teenager and im assuming she wants to maintain her weight, i would bump it up to closer to 2000. Teenagers have faster metabolisms and need more calories just to maintain their weights. Try this site: http://nutrition.about.com/library/bl_nutrition_guide.htm |
