I work out on a daily basis (30 mins per day) and eat healthy and attend yoga and pilates..but it seems I store all my fat in my belly. I am lean and fit everywhere else. What else can I do? I have noticed I start dropping the lbs when I stop eating dinner but I would rather not do that.

well its good that you wana do it the right way! staying lean is easy, its those last one or two kgs of fat that are so hard to lose! (and keep off!) that comes down mostly too diet. The other thing i would try are some spring intervals (ie 40m sprint 40 second break, 40m sprint 40 second break and so on.) Sprinting will help you get very lean! But losing that last tiny bit is hard. your body doesnt want to be mega lean, it wants to have some fat on it incase of emergency! It will fight you too keep that fat. (trust me i know!)

Sometimes, unfortunately, it just comes down to genetics. My father stores all his fat in his belly, and so even when I (a female) lost a significant amount of weight my senior year of high school--so much so that I was actually considerably underweight, medically speaking--I still had that horrible pouch on my stomach. Sit-ups just make it more pronounced by building up the muscle underneath and making the pooch stick out farther, as you can't spot-lose fat, so it's really just a terrible conundrum. You're at a good weight for your height (especially considering that a lot of it is probably muscle, seeing as you work out daily), so my best suggestion is to check your posture; sometimes that contributes to the problem. Stand up very straight, shoulders back, hips forward and all that and see if you can find a good position that minimizes the belly. Choose clothes that flatter your figure--it might be harder, as the ultra-low-rise stuff that's on the market tends to make the situation worse (can you say muffin top? Blech. Too many women try to wear clothes they shouldn't, IMO!), but it can be done. Finally, I would definitely not skip dinner--you'll screw up your metabolism something fierce. It may work to drop some poundage in the short run, but if you're maintaining comfortably at 115 with your current eating patterns, changing them by an entire meal is certainly too much.
