If you reach a stopping point and you still have some weight to go, you can change your workout a bit. Doing an hour of cardio and 45 min of weight training the next day is a great idea if you arent doing so already. You can also adjust your diet a little more too if you think there's still some things you are eating that you shouldn't, or just decrease the calories a bit.

Shake your work out a little. Try new things like aerobics, kickboxing and swimming. Don't do cardio at a constant speed. Go from high intensity to normal to low and repeat. Maybe your body has gone into starvation mode (Do you take 1200 calories per day?) Have a cheat meal (Go on. It won't kill you. But I mean a cheat meal, NOT a cheat day!) If nothing works, visit a dietitian or talk to a gym instructor. The bottomline is, don't give up! Plateaus can be overcome.

Hi, Eisha, congrats on your weight loss! It sounds like your body is just used to your routine and needs to be shaken up a bit! I would suggest that you do a more "drastic" diet for a week or two, and then return to your original plan:Go on the 5-4-3-2-1 diet for just two weeks. http://www.easy-weightloss-tips.com/5-4-3-2-1diet.htmlFollow it exactly and don't cheat! You can find the diet on the page below. You pick the food but the diet helps you eat small amounts. Choose highly nutritious foods because that will be more satisfying and keep your metabolism strong.Drink plenty of water to keep your system flushed and to help you feel full. Give up soda for the two weeks, even diet, and all other sweet drinks as well. Also, no alcohol for 2 weeks. Chew sugar-free gum between meals if you need a flavor in your mouth. Keep up your workouts but change them up a bit.In addition, this article talks about how to get through a diet plateau and is really good, I think... http://ezinearticles.com/?Diet-Plateau?-Celebrate-The-Non-Scale-Victor ies!&id=1208495Good luck!
