After warming up, I run for 4 minutes at 8.7, speed it up to 10.5 for 30 seconds, lower my speed to 8.0 for 30 seconds, and then put it back to 8.7. So:0:00-4:00=8.7 mph4:00-4:30=10.5 mph4:30-5:00=8.0 mph5:00-8:00=8.7 mph8:00-8:30=10.5 mph8:30-9:00=8.0 mph9:00-12:00=9.7 mphI do this at a 2.5 incline for 25 minutes, and then at the end I put it at 12.5 until 26 minutes. I do this often, but will I see any results from this kind of workout?ThanksOh, also, my goal is not to lsoe weight, but to get faster, stronger, and maybe even get more toned

that sounds like a pretty good workout. As long as your heart rate is accelerated your doing it right. Mix up your routine so your body doesn't get used to it.

What results are you looking for? If you're looking for weight loss, a steadier pace for a longer time at a heavier incline is best. If you're looking for cardio, your current workout is pretty good. For any workout, if it gets to easy for you, you keep changing it to make it harder.

yes. speed work will help to strengthen your heart and lungs while blasting fat. i also recommend some longer mileage days too. with that combination you will see results. try also watching what you eat.
