Keep track of what size your portions are. You may be eating healthy, but if your eating too much, you still while have trouble. Keep in mind that muscle ways more than fat. You may be building muscle in your legs. I would recomend throwing out your scale and getting a tape measure instead. Go by how your clothes fit and what your meaurments are and not you weight. Scales are evil!!!!!

A few things. Sometimes weight gain by athletes is caused by dehydration. If you are not properly hydrated throughout the day and during exercise, your body will retain water as a defense mechanism. You should drink no less than 1/2 gallon of water a day, steadily. If you just chug water when you exercise, you are conditioning your body to retain it. Your diet should be broken down into 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day. You should eat a balanced breakfast, like oatmeal and a protein source like 1-2 eggs. follow that up with a power bar or whole grain energy bar, lunch, snack on fruits and nuts, dinner, and a good protein source BEFORE sleep. If you don't feed your body before sleep, you are missing out on some great muscle gains. Muscle burns fat. I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Eating throughout the day protects muscle. When your body doesn't get the nutrition it needs, it consumes itself, and stores those nutrients as fat as a defense mechanism. It's a crazy concept, but you need to eat more, but smaller portions, many times a day. Also, try adding some green tea (brewed) not the arizona sugar filled crap, but a good organic tea from gnc or any whole foods market. Green tea Helps speed up your metabolism. 1.) 6 small meals a day 200-250 calories.2.) drink A LOT more water than you do right now. When people think water they think bloated. In fact it's the exact opposite, Water makes you lean and hard.3.) Add a good multi vitamin, green tea and whole grains to your diet.4.) weight training. You need to build muscle to burn fat. Don't worry, you will not have man shoulders, or 16" biceps in 30 days. The best figures in the world weight train like football players. Women are genetically different, you will not look like a man. You'll be fine. Lift weights, 2-3 times a week. Consult a personal trainer if you can afford to do so. Good luck!!5.) check out our site, you will love it!

You are gaining muscle .. remember that muscle weights more then fat. What you might want to look at is getting a body fat index done and then chart how you body fat is decreasing. Also unless you are trying to drop weight because of a sport then dont necessarily use your weight as a guide. Look at how your body is changing , are you starting to get more definition in your muscles . losing the fat rolls etc. Last but not least do you feel healthier ?
