PLEASE READ!!I have stopped working out for two months because i want to become good at cycling which is a VERY demanding sport. i was crazy at one point to be light and stopped working out the upper body and started working out my legs.before i benched 145 pounds 28 times.now i bench 145 pounds only 14 times.i gained a lot of muscle on my legs.i plan to start working out again. did bike riding contribute to more muscle loss or would it be the same if i did not work out my legs at all.thanks for any info.

Very confusing question. Not excersing for two months and starting again would barely hurt anything. If you mean that you are going to keep biking and not do lower body exercises then that would be fine... Sorry if that's not what you are interested in knowing but that really made no sense.

No. I haven't worked my upper body since summer and my muscles still remain. But I do have good metabolism. But no, the cycling definitely won't contribute to muscle loss. Aerobics, such as cycling, actually benefit the muscles. In my old weight training class we would lift every other day and we would do aerobics the days we didn't lift. Plus, you can still bench the same amount of weight. You're completely fine man.
