im 19 years old5'6247 pounds i want to lose 100 pounds in if possible 8 months...how do i do this? is there a website where i can get free tips? i am very serious about this so please serious answers...i have a treadmill. can anyone give me tips on how many minutes i should start using it a week..i also have a medicine ball..

If you can manage to control yourself, well simply drink 12-15 glasses of water each day. DO NOT DRINK CARBONATED DRINKS, COFFEE, TEA and JUICES. Always eat fruits and vegetables. Do not eat spicy, salty, sweet and fatty food. Try these for 3 months.I lose weight from 75 kilos to 62 kilos in 3 months. I am now on my 3rd year and 4 months and maintaining my weight from 56 kilos to 58 kilos.Have a nice day and GOD BLESS!!!!!

Cardio..Cardio..CardioThis will help you lose the weight. Depending on how much time you have but you want to go for about a half-hour to forty five about 4-5 times a week. Go slowly, don't push yourself to hard to start and build up as you get comfortable. Further, nutrition is the most important part. You want to eat smaller meals more often about 5 a day. This will keep your metabolism going through out. To lose a pound it is roughly 3500 calories so you want to avoid crap calories like soda, or excessive juice, etc... Don't starve yourself cause that will make your body store weight, but try to drop 500 a day and you should be on your way. This figure depends on your calorie intake. Further, higher body muscle will strengthen your metabolism and burn more calories during the day so try and weight train when possible. Hope this helps!!

That's great that you are serious, keep it up!There are a number of great articles to read on MSN Health. I have also been doing that, and I am losing weight steady.Right now there are just a few things to start with :1. Drink at least 2 litres of water. Drink when you are hungry too.2. Eat a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits.3. Don't skip breakfast.4. Quit drinking sodas and beer. Forget about crisps and chocolate and refined sugars.5. Go for wholemeal products. They keep you fuller longer and you'll eat less.6. Introduce as much exercise in your life as possible. By this I mean don't hesitate to take the stairs, and walk about when possible.As for the exercise you'll have to build up slowly.1. Start by stretching. Do a little warming up.2. You can begin by doing 5 mins on your treadmill, take a break in between and then carry on.3. See if its possible to join a gym, you can have proper equipment and loss weight easier.I wish you the best of luck.

Medicine balls won't help you lose weight, unless you really believe in it, in that case it would be the placebo effect and nothing more. Since that's probably not going to happen, the only other way is to use the treadmill and eat less, A LOT LESS. The setting on the treadmill should be alternating speeds. This will psychologically make you feel more tired than running at full speed. The increase in stress will burn more fat faster.Run every other day for 30 minutes. And don't forget to eat less.

i hope i dont come off too harsh but here goes:get off your fat ass and do something to change your life! self pity and fear of change and laziness will get you nowhere! u will get BIGGER and BIGGER unless u get SERIOUS about YOU!! now to answer your question:1. get a private journal for yourself2. get a scale3. body fat calculating instrument (look it up on google)4. take 1 week BEFORE u start doing anything... evaluate yourself.see what u are eating WRONG. see what u are able to give up immediately like soda etc. see what u are addicted to but can reduce.. you have to reduce bad foods. DO NOT abruptly DROP foods. this will just make you lose. wean yourself by reducing these bad food until u have then nun at all.5. get a camera. take pictures of yourself. look at the areas u hate the most. where u love the most. even under alot of fat everyone has nice shape. or lok at old pictures and see where u really like. your butt, hips anywhere6. paste up your current pictures (in panties or short shorts and bra only) and paste them up in your room where u can see it. 7. in your journal write down all the reasons why u need to lose weight, write down all the reasons why u are this fat. write down all the things you could have done to prevent it.8. if u have a piece of clothing that recently stopped fitting, like about 6 months ago, take out that piece of clothing and keep it near, after a month u try it on.8. record your current inches, body fat, weight, set your overall goal weight (100 lbs) and set your goal weight for that month (i would advise you 5 - 8 lbs) so your journal will head up the month.. goals, then each day, no more than 2 days .. you record ALL your emotions. you mistakes and how u feel about them. what caused them and what you could have done to prevent.9. each day. or every other day (no more that that) take a picture of your body front ways, side ways, back ways and your face. this will be essential so that YOU SEEE!!! YOUR PROGRESS!!! pictures show u whats really there!!! say you have 30 pictures, look at all of them then the first and the last one and you will see the changed.10. join DIET.com , use FITDAY.com. SHAPEFIT.com for free help wherever you may need it. account for what u have done in fitday. shapefit gives exercise help etc..11. hello.. u better step you damn game up and drink alot of water you hear that!! throw out ALL soda and sugar drinks.. u HAVE to CUT that.. wean off foods, but cut soda and suga drink FULY. DRINK WATER. get a 1 litre evian or whatever water bottle and fill it and carry it with u wherever,, dont even bother looking for that weight loss if u dont drink about 4 of those a day!. 12. for exercise now, i would much rather u find a sport and forget about cardio bullshit. tennis, swimming, badminton. etc. if not. for 6 days of the week do 15 - 20 of exercise .. like jumping jacks. skipping. etc. something with arm and leb movements. you can time yourself take breaks, but at the end of the day all your minutes should have been dun. 10 in mornin 10 in evening etc.1 day of rest.in other weeks you can add 5 minutes extra.. and so on.after 3 weeks (u would be at 30 minutes her and ready for other things) go to NOWloss.com and look at the 50 lbs in 5 month program.. (donot do this program.. i doubt you will stick to it) view the videos for the program and do 1 rep of the cardio thats there. in the next week do two reps. in your regular life, walk more briskly. make the most of your walking time.. that is WHEN you have adjusted! do not over exert yourself.dont go walking a mile. but 5 minutes here and day throught the day will be good. always have your water!!13. food. wean yourself gradually off of these foods:meat, refined flour, refined rice, pastries, butter/oils fats, sugars..i am not saying u should STOP eating them. but consider them when u are about to INDULGE... eat more of these: whole grains, vegetables, starchy vegies like yams, potatos etc. brown rice. etc..after about 2 months of weaning you should barely be having those bad foods.. when u are at this stage go to http://drmcdougall.com/free.html and try this programme until you desire have the results your want... its a healthy alternative..14. shapefit and now loss should help you to increase the exercise you are doing. look out for sports.. if you are uncomfortable with your body during sports, wait until a time when you are more comfy.15. althroughout this period, keep updating your list of why u need to lose weight. what u love about yourself. learn to accept flaws that are not weight related. after each month reward yourself to some piece of clothing that makes u look beautiful and feel it too. accept your weight for what it is,, and work toward becoming comfortable.i donot think u should aim for 8 months. aim for 12. by the time u get to 6 months, the extra 6 will not seem very hard becauseu would be impressed with you changes[edit] lol number error!! oh.. 1 thing u must know!!!!! NEVER GO HUNGRY!!!!!!! eat small meals every 3 hrs.. or medium meals every 5 hours. depend on how you lifestyle is.spend time in the mirror or taking picture!! alot of time with yourself. watch other ppl's journeys to learn new things and methods of weight loss. and sorry i dint see the thread mill... okay you can get a PEDOMETER and trt it for 20 a day and increase the time or speed or both as u go along.. cheach shapefit.com
