| is their a way can get it to work without it.or use something else instead.i've tried other magnets that have the same shape but they don't seem to work.by the way the treadmill is brand new and hasn't been used yet .and so i wouldn't rule out other problems |

| I'm assuming you are using a key magnet to start the treadmill?My suggestion would have been to try another magnet or contact the store where you bought the treadmill, they may have extra's if its a common treadmill that they carry.Or you can contact the treadmill manufacturer directly and order a replacement. |

| If we're talking about the emergency shut off cord magnet then it's probably a big deal. You may need to try and contact the manufacturer for a new one or find someone who knows about electronics to disable the emergency shutoff - if they'll do it because they won't want liabilty and it will probably void any warranty you may have on it. |
