is it bad to take daily vitamins if i'm a regular drinker 4 to 6 beers a day?

daily vitamin supplements.i only drink beer no hard liquor

No, no problem at all. In fact, it's probably good to take vitamins to replenish any lost vitamins or minerals and to help the body regenerate.

No, it is good for you to take vitamin pills because the beer takes it out of you. Just take a regular multivitamin, no super-high levels and stuff.

Not that I'm aware of? From what I know it is actually a good idea. Alcohol messes up your liver and other organs so vitamins can help your body heal or prevent a bit of the damage, also you're getting a good portion of your calories from the beer so you may not be eating as much or as well as you should?I think you should at least take a multivitamin, there are other vitamins that alcoholics are generally short on but you should look those up- I'm not sure exactly what they are sorry.

first of all without alcohol consumption, very little of this synthetic style of mineral is absorbed into the body in the first place..alcohol defuncts what little properties vitamins have.just eat right, fresh fruits, veggies.. juice your fruits... eat less dairy and watch your meat intake.. make sure the meat is fresh!don't consume too much on the processed foods ok?and if you can.. over time... especially with age and weight... (among health issues that are genetic.) try to cut back on the routine of drinking... instead of daily... try to eventually become a weekend sort.i had to.. i've noticed a huge change... what was once a sick body is now much more resilient to disease, lower in weight and blood pressure and higher in energy.after nearly 30 years of a daily drinking habit, i was noticing something was seriously wrong.
