| My oncologist has given me the go-ahead, as far as beginning to work out again, now that i've finished chemo. But the thing is... I don't know where to START!I've lost so much muscle mass for lethargy during chemo, I absolutely cannot pick up at the speed I was working out when I began chemo. While I am a "healthy" (sort of...) young adult, I do not think I can even begin where a normal young adult might begin a new workout regimen. My question is what kinds of things can I do to begin increasing my endurance? I can't just get down and start doing sit ups, crunches, and running, even at a small amount. I need to build up to be able to do that. |

| You get healthy after chemo the same way you get healthy after anything. Eat nutritiously and exercise. Also, drink water. Start slowly and gently, then increase your endurance as time progresses. |

| I know it's difficult, but try not to look at it as all-or-nothing. You have to start back slowly, and set small, attainable goals. Good luck to you. |
