| I am 5'6 and weighed 85 two months ago. About a month ago it was 80. Now I am 5'6.5 and 79.5 pounds, a mere 12.5 BMI! I have upped my eating intake a lot, and exercise too, but I keep getting lighter. I take vitamin supplements and eat healthy, but not TOO healthy. My doctor says I look healthy, and I do have some muscles, and no fat, and my bones aren't easily visible, and he says that my BMI is off the charts, on the wrong side, but I am OK and my bones are probably light. I asked a similar question before, but I am getting a bit worried now. |

| When I was a teenager I was 110 and 5'6". Then I started eating Oreo cookies and milk before bed and I gained a bit. It's good that you checked with your doctor. It sounds like you are small boned and have a fantastic metabolism.Have you looked at Tim Ferriss' blog for increasing you muscle mass? |

| see a different doctor ans maybe a nutritionist. if you cant afford one go to a vitamin supplement store or a pharmacy counter and ask one of them how to gain some weight. |
