I would talk to a doctor about this. It may be your thyroid slowing down. another reason, is if you drink. The waistline is the first to go

well of course your waist gets bigger. you said you concentrate on your arms, chest, and back. Also, if you're eating late in the evening or exercising late in the evening, that could be a major proponent to weight gain.

Are you sure the exercises your doing are having any effect on your stomach? You may be doing them wrong, or it could be water weight if you have drank a lot of fluids recently. Sorry i cant really help.

If you start to build muscle under your fat then the fat won't go away. Try to lose the fat before you try to gain the muscle.

What exactly are you eating? How is your stress level? Most generally stress causes that wonderful spare tire. How much water are you drinking? Sounds like you have the exercise part down, however Nutrition is a huge part of loosing those inches and pounds.

Hmmm, maybe your metabolism is slowing down, or maybe its just a phase! The body is a complicated thing, what works with some people, doesn't work with others. Don't worry about it!If it continues, or you become overweight, maybe you should consult your doctor.

Im by no means an expert but, for myself I figured out that the bottom line is if I consume for calories than I burn, I'm just not going to shed the fat. Now I'm not sure what type of workout your doing but maybe try switching to to a high intensity, high repetitions workout you may burn more calories.
