I used to go to the gym a lot, after graduation I stopped going. Now I'm getting back into it and can't remember the routine I used to use, that I really liked and worked well. I plan on a 6 day a week routine, possibly seven (a day or two of just cardio). I only enjoy one or two exercises per muscle group so can anyone help match up what to do on what day? Here are my exercises: Military Press/Arnold press, Leg press, calf raises, bicep curls, triceps kickbacks and extensions, Seated row, Chest press machine, one arm rows, leg curls and extensions. I may be forgetting something, so if you have suggestions, please. I also never know how to work my abs, and haven't enjoyed anything I've tried.Cardio options: I run for 30 minutes, but I'd like to mix it up. Swimming, biking, rock climbing?, any other options? I always do a 10-20 minute cool down shooting basketsI'm doing this to get back into shape (endurance wise, and shed a few pounds I've added since graduation). Thanks for all your help.

There is a video in here that gives you really good ab exercises that only take like 15/20 minutes total (with reps), and work really well. http://easy-sixpack-abs.com/six-pack-abs/get-six-pack-abs-in-6-minutes -on-your-couch

Your routine sounds pretty solid. As for what to do on what day, I would suggest just picking an area (like I used to divide up chest, arms and back) and working on that for a day, and then giving that area a rest for 2 days while you work out another section. For example, monday/thurs I'd do arms, tues/fri I'd do chest, and wed/sat I'd do back, with a little bit of abs and legs everyday.Swimming is a great way to cooldown but i'd be sure the pool was heated, otherwise you're going to be feeling the lactid acid the next day. I would stay away from rock climbing though - it's redundant and you can get a better cardio workout doing something else.
