I'm an active female, 28, 5'3, 140lbs. I can work out for up to 3hours per day/6 days a week. But not always straight through the three hours. Some days I divvy it up in hour-long sessions (BodyCombat/swimming for cardio, free weights for strength, and Yoga/Pilates for stretching and core work). Some weeks I don't work out as long, or as intense. Or should I be more consistent with my current schedule? My strength has definitely increased. However, my endurance leaves much to be desired. Sometimes I feel fatigue and get bored when I realize I can't give 100%. I mean my brain says, "Why bother?" while the body's like, "Okay, let's go home." It forces me to skip the gym and I still continue with the same appetite. I feel that there is definitely an imbalance somewhere. I want to understand why my threshold is so low when it comes to fatiguing. It seems that I reach the point of diminishing returns too early. I can work out like there's no tomorrow, but I can also eat. My choices are usually healthy, but I'm not one of those people who lays out their caloric intake on a spreadsheet. (Or should I?)Another thing that is so frustrating is the fact that after I turned 25, my body just started rebelling against me. I used to be a buck 15. According to the caliper test + Omron body fat analyzer, I'm over 21% body fat. Grrr. Need advice on how to tweak my ways and increase performance and efficiency...
