well ive got 3 stone to loose as well, so hey, why not report to each other every week and see how much we go loose together and spur each other on - its horrible, uncomfortable and hard work, let me know what you think, good luck but hopefully we can report to each other on how well we are doing. its like so easy to gain it, trying to loose it is a nightmare come true, but if we have a off day, there is always the next

try this it really worked for mei am a 17 year old female who weighs approximately 50 kilos and I am 168cm in height. I go to the gym three times a week for an hour of cardio (mainly on the cross trainer) and according to the machines i burn about 850-950 calories each time. ( i know the machines aren't that accurate). My daily diet is ;Breakfast: all bran with semi skimmed milk and 2 pieces of fruit ussually nectarines. (300 calories ish)Snack: apple (50 calories)Lunch; turkey sandwich (whole meal break and turkey slices no spread) (150 calories)Snack; will bar (213 calories)Dinner; varied but consists of 300 calories. tonight i had a fish cake, green beans and noodles.Dessert; 250 calories..maybe and icecream or yohgurt and barSupper; cereal with semi skimmed milk (allbran or special k) with a piece of fruit (250-300 calories)I drink two litres of water each day and i have about two diet drinks and two cups of green tea.Good luck xxx

Hiya,You don't necessarily have to do a full on work out. Just a few stretches or a little walking around, try to keep on the move as best as you can. If your recovery time from surgery will not allow you to do that, then all there is to suggest is a healthy and well balanced diet. Perhaps you should take a look at what you are eating at the moment.Although you said you aren't into cakes and sweets, there are probably some foods in your diet that you could be replacing for healthier alternatives - for example, white bread to wholemeal, full fat milk to half fat or no fat milk. What ever you do, do not opt for weight loss supplements or anything like that, as they will probably hinder your recovery from surgery, as well as not being a 'quick-fix'.Just remember to keep on the move as best you can - if you had serious surgery, and can't move anything but your little finger - do it! I know it sounds silly, but It will get you used to moving around a little. If the worst comes to the worst, don't worry about it. If changing your eating habits don't work then, wait until your fully recovered, the last thing anyone wants to do when there ill is loose weight.Take care, and I hope you are feeling better soon.x
