What are the pros/cons of drinking only water? I would still eat food, just cut out soda, milk, juice, etc.?

I am curious what would happen if I stopped drinking all forms of liquid except for water for say...a year. I could easily supplement calcium and other necessary vitamins and would still eat a normal, relatively healthy diet. Would this have a great impact on me physically? Would I be that much healthier? Would it actually have adverse effects on me?

Drinking water offers many benefits including weight loss (check out the article using the link below).I think cutting out soda is a great idea but I would still include milk in your diet. Studies show that low fat or fat free dairy products helps with weight loss as well.

You would cut out a massive intake of sugar. I'd warn against cutting out ALL forms of liquid besides water because some contain nutrients that are hard to get in other forms. I believe you would be quite a bit healthier. There are so many unnecessary additives in food and beverages today that it could be worth a shot. If you're not bent on JUST water, may I suggest vitamin water? A lot of these have increased vitamins (duh) and offer little to no additives.
