| Treadmill and jogging in place are not the same as jogging or walking. Dancing hard is a cardio workout if you do it long enough, at least 20 minutes straight, and no drinking. |

| Dancing is definitely considered a cardio workout. Jogging in place is not the same as on a treadmill because jogging in place favors more the flexor muscle of the hips. Actually, it is better to either power walk or run for that very reason. Favoring one set of muscles versus the other can cause an imbalance in the musculature, which can lead to backaches or other chronic problems resulting from the musculoskeletal system. |
