I'm saying this as like my only workout for the entire day, how long should I go on it for? How many calories should I burn? And should I take breaks in between or just do it all at once? Help?Oh and also, when I'm on the treadmill for like 10 to 20 minutes I get exhausted and sweat like crazy.I get really sore the next day too.

You gotta take things slow my mother always told me that but I never listened and would over due it and be very sore later on. Try and just do 10 or 15 minutes everyday. Don't forget your suppose to have one day a week as a freebie day to let your body rest and to throw off your metabolism. Don't set a schedule either. If you cant do it cuz your busy then just skip a day.

We had a fitness center where I used to work, and I would walk on the treadmill every work day for 30 minutes to one hour, no breaks. I lost 3 pants sizes in 4 months and was never sore. If you're getting that tired and sore, you're doing something wrong. Turn down the speed or tension, lower any incline, just slow down. It's not a race. Once you can do 30 minutes without being exhausted or sore the next day, start gradually increasing speed, time, or distance. Gradually is the key word. Don't over do it, you could injure yourself. At the beginning of every walk, go slowly for 5 minutes to warm up, and at the end, go slowly for another 5 minutes to cool down. Good walking shoes aren't a bad idea, either. This is what I did, and it worked for me.To answer your initial question, I would be on it at least twice a day if I owned one, I love them!
