| My little diet pill junkie friend recently started taking "Green Stinger" diet pills. She found them online and they say they contain 27mg of Ephedrine Hydrochloride per tablet. I thought Ephedra was banned in US so do these pills really contain ephedra?? Im worried about her taking this product if it really does contain illigal ingredients which can easily kill her. Anyone have any input? http://supplementstogo.com/green-stinger-ephedra.html |

| ephedra was not banned, but supplement companies stopped selling it because it received a lot of negative publicity a few years ago (why tobacco and alcohol continue to be sold, that's confusing).there are MANY things that can kill a person: hydrogenated oils are poisonous and dangerous in any quantity, but they're in almost everything. ephedra won't kill your friend, especially not in the small doses that she's taking. combining large quantities of ephedra (>1g) with large quantities of caffiene (>5g) in one day would be dangerous, but very difficult. |

| Please tell her to change her eating and exercises habits, and stay off that product. As a friend you can assist her with a good diet and exercise program |
