I would love your feedback on diet pills. I'm running the website for weight loss but I don't like writing about stuff based on advertising. I don't feel it's fair to viewers. I only used Hoodia pills but nothing else. I would love if you could post some personal experience in here or would be great if you could add more at my forum. I think others could greatly benefit from it. If you can please put your good and bad experience at www.life-stinks.com/forumJust in case I wasn't clear. I'm not interested in website links. I can find it myself. I want to know the real stories from real people - not opinions.Cheers

Slimming pills and teas do not help to lose weight effectively in the long term. The use of slimming products may lead to rapid weight loss initially. By and large, many slimming products contain substances that suppress the appetite, stimulate metabolism or induce drastic water loss from the body.It is not safe to use these products without adequate medical supervision. Moreover, slimming products are usually expensive and do not help change the overweight individual eating and exercise habits, which are the root causes of weight gain. This makes the maintenance of weight loss difficult.

My experience with diet pills has always been bad, no matter the 'good' results I would get from them (which were always fleeting). Temporary weight loss was always outweighed by mood swings, headaches, dry mouth and other side effects from any of the products I tried - and then the weight would always come back once I started eating properly again. To top it all off, I KNEW that what I was doing wouldn't help me in the long run, but I simply wanted an easy way out (or a quick way to lose some weight before an upcoming event). The very first time I took diet pills was when I was 15, for about 3 weeks I took these pills called 'Thinz', the active ingredient is basically derived from Ephedrine - I lost about 7 kgs in that time.Obviously I was really happy with the results because as a teenage girl I had severe issues with my body and just wanted to be thin. I ran out of the pills and just forgot about them for a while, just enjoyed being skinny. Slowly the weight started creeping back, and before I knew it I was heavier than I was before I had taken the pills in the first place! So I tried Thinz again, but they didn't work anymore - probably because my body became used to them. My poor system was obviously trying to bounce back from the damage I had inflicted on it.This vicious cycle with diet pills continued well into my college years. Whenever I started a new diet, I would go to the pharmacy and find something I hadn't tried yet. I bought into many of the 'natural' products on the market too - grapefruit extract, apple cider vinegar, hoodia, etc. I can't really remember all of them, but the list is long! And they all did the same thing - they took my appetite away, but they made me moody and just disrupted my body's natural functions. Now, I just eat a healthy diet and exercise - the two most important and simple ways to stay slim and feel good. Something I should have done long ago (I honestly wish I can go back in time and tell my young self to stay away from those Thinz!) I will never, ever buy another diet product again and don't believe in supplements or anything else that 'aids' weight loss - no matter how natural, no matter the results that other people may have.

Be careful with diet pills--I've had some bad experiences trying some of them. What I did find to work really well though was a natural supplement of Acai berry which I actually saw on Oprah and Rachel Ray. It was a while ago, but I ordered a free sample from http://ultraacaiberry.com/y/ and it's been great for helping increase my energy, metabolism, and keeping my body healthy! I've lost weight and I feel much, much better than I did when I was on the pills.
