I'm 16 male, and I've been taking 3300 for 3-4 weeks but I feel like I've gained too much fat (I'm just trying to gain for bball season), could I drop it to 2700 and still gain weight? Or is it too late to mess with cal intake? It's around 1000 + bmr and I'm only doing light cardio + lifting now, and I plan up the cals once bball starts. macro ratio would be 45% carbs (300 g), 30% protein (200 g), and 25% fat (75 g), I weigh around 140-145

you prolly will long as you don't have a high metabolism, cause I'm about 155 pounds and 5'9" tall takes me 3500-4000 calories to gain much of anything lol my best advice though keep with maybe 3000 calories and just try and hit the weights hard turn the weight into muscle dun let it sit as fat then you wont have much to worry bout eventually you may even need to up your intake more to gain the more muscle you have the faster you tend to burn fat or so I've heard lol hope that helps

welll go down by 10% is the general rule so u dont mess up any metabalism things and lose weight so i say 3000cals cuz 10% of 3300 is 330cals dont decrease more than that though if ur looking to bulk ur gonna gain some fat u cant lose fat and bulk at the same time just so u know and yes def up the cals when bball starts
