ok so i am overweight. im about 5'5 and weigh 156 pounds and 14. i already lost ALOT of weight over the past 5 months. about (40 pounds) so i decided to gain muscle in the process. can u give me a good workout scheldule and maybe a food plan to get me started. i do not have any weights atm im about to go to the fitness store soon. right now just have a Nike Resistance band and a mat.

Don't do heavy weights. Can stunt your growth. Low weight high repetition training is best to get your body toned. Try Tae Bo, you can download or rent it.

you should be very proud of your self first off i know being overweight when your young can be really really hard kids can be so cruel to you. so give your self a pat on the back. also i was a overweight kid and i grew out of it you might also want to have your thyroid checked if obesity runs in your family it may just be down to dna but if not it might be a thyroid. its a simple blood test. ok so now back to your question weights at your age isnt the best idea because your are still growing light weights are fine try this use cans like cans of vegetables or something with a bit of weight cans are best because there easy but you can also use shopping bags full of things as weights. just take it easy on the weights best things would really be swimming or walking jogging and pilates would be great you can get the elastic bands used for under 10 dollars at most sporting places like big 5 stores like that if you can you should be doing 60 minuets of cardio 4 times a week cardio is when your heart beat is elevated i would go into the exact numbers of beats per min but this way is simple you should be breathing so heavy that you can talk but no have a conversation. you will know what i mean when your working out. The best food plan i can say is cutting out carbs i know theres alot of negative comments about the branded atkins diet but it does work its basically cutting out carbs and sugar and it will make you feel alot better just eat lots of lean meats grilled chicken, steak, fish, and vegetables if you stick to tdiet not those specifically mentioned foods but just do a search on the web on low carb diet and you will find loads of info good luck!!
